Warranty Policy
Last updated: 08/01/26
This Warranty Policy explains the scope and application of Casana Interiors’ five-year structural furniture warranty. It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions of Sale, Returns & Refunds Policy, Delivery Information and Product Care guidance.
This policy applies to furniture purchased directly from Casana Interiors and delivered to a UK address.
1. Our approach to quality
Casana furniture is designed for everyday use. From material selection and construction methods to proportion and finish, each piece is developed to perform reliably over time in normal indoor environments.
Because we have confidence in the quality of our design and manufacturing process, Casana Interiors provides a five-year structural warranty on qualifying furniture at no additional cost.
This warranty offers added reassurance and operates alongside your statutory rights under UK consumer law. It does not replace or limit those rights.
2. What this warranty covers
For a period of five years from the date of delivery, this warranty covers qualifying structural defects arising from faults in materials or workmanship under normal indoor use.
Structural components typically include:
- Frames and primary support structures
- Load-bearing elements such as rails, supports and key joints
- Essential fixings that affect the stability or integrity of the furniture
- Manufacturing defects in hard structural surfaces where not caused by misuse, impact or environmental conditions
Where a qualifying structural defect is confirmed, Casana Interiors will assess the issue and determine an appropriate remedy in line with applicable consumer law.
3. Remedies under the warranty
If a claim is accepted under this warranty, Casana Interiors may offer one of the following remedies, depending on the nature of the issue and the circumstances:
- Repair of the item
- Replacement of parts or the full product
- A proportionate refund or price adjustment where repair or replacement is not possible
Where statutory consumer law provides a stronger or more appropriate remedy, that remedy will take precedence.
4. What this warranty does not cover
This warranty does not cover cosmetic changes, normal ageing or issues caused by use or conditions outside our control. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Normal wear and tear, including cushion softening and comfort changes
- Upholstery characteristics such as fading, pilling, creasing, stretching or staining
- Damage caused by sunlight, heat sources, moisture or inappropriate room conditions
- Natural variations in materials such as wood grain, knots, colour variation or stone veining that do not affect structural performance
- Accidental damage, misuse or abuse, including impact, dragging, standing or jumping on furniture, or overloading
- Incorrect assembly where instructions have not been followed
- Alterations, modifications or repairs not authorised by Casana Interiors
- Damage caused by third-party handling, storage or transportation after delivery
- Use in heavy-duty commercial environments where the product was not designed for such use
- Mattresses and comfort-based products, which are subject to different performance expectations
These exclusions do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
5. Relationship with your statutory rights
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected by this warranty. Furniture must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and last a reasonable length of time.
These rights can apply for up to six years in England and Wales and five years in Scotland, regardless of whether a warranty is offered. Where there is any conflict between this warranty and your statutory rights, your statutory rights will always take priority.
For issues identified shortly after delivery, our Returns & Refunds Policy may provide the most appropriate resolution.
6. Who the warranty applies to
This warranty applies to:
- Casana furniture purchased directly from Casana Interiors online, by phone or through an authorised Casana trade account
- Products delivered to a UK address
The warranty applies to the original purchaser at the original delivery address. It is not automatically transferable if an item is resold or relocated, unless agreed by Casana Interiors in writing.
7. Trade, hospitality and business use
Eligible trade and hospitality customers benefit from the same five-year structural warranty, provided:
- The furniture is used in an appropriate environment
- Care and maintenance guidance is followed
In higher-use settings, cosmetic wear will occur more quickly and is not considered a structural defect. Contractual rights for business customers are governed by our Trade Terms & Conditions.
8. Making a warranty claim
If you believe your furniture has developed a structural fault within the warranty period, please contact us at:
Email: contact@casanainteriors.co.uk
Please include:
- Your name and contact details
- Order number
- Product name or link
- A clear description of the issue
- Photographs or video where helpful
We will review the information provided and confirm whether the issue is covered under this warranty or your statutory rights.
9. Assessment and inspection
To assess a warranty claim fairly, we may request additional information, including details of use and care. For complex or high-value claims, we may arrange an inspection by an approved technician or independent assessor.
Where continued use could worsen the issue, we may ask that the item is not used until the assessment is complete.
10. Liability and limitations
Nothing in this Warranty Policy:
- Limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Affects your statutory consumer rights
Where permitted by law, Casana Interiors’ liability under this warranty will not normally exceed the original purchase price of the item.
